Garden Party at Carrington House
Adults $5.00 Children 12 and under $1.00
Carterton Central Lions Club is organising a Family Garden Party to celebrate Carterton's Jubilee year. This will be held at historic Carrington House, entrance on High Street at the north end of town. Proceeds to Carterton St John and Carterton Fire Brigade. Music, entertainment, items by schoolchildren, demonstrations of art, food stalls, Devonshire teas and quality goods to buy. Wander through the beautiful grounds, take in the garden and spring flowers. Carrington House is also the home of classic vintage cars specially cared for by the owners. Some of these will be on display. Tickets available at Carterton Information Centre and at the District Council office, both in Holloway Street.



Saturday November 17th 10.00am - 4.00pm.
Richmond Garden Walk (40 Wakelin Street, Carterton)
Stroll around New Zealand's pre-eminent formal topiary garden, right here in central Carterton. Tickets available at Carterton Information Centre, Holloway Street (open Tuesday to Sunday 10am - 4.00pm). Adults $10, Children $5. Plenty of parking in Wakelin and neighbouring streets. No dogs please. All proceeds to the Keep Carterton Beautiful Group.
